That is what the papers have dubbed this ice storm that has gone through, I was writing about it in my journal on deviantart. At around 8 o'clock Tuesday night we lost electricity and the radio says it will be at least 3 weeks until most every one has electricity again.
Tomorrow is my birthday and although we have a generator (that is the only reason I am on right now, we hooked the wireless motem up to it so I could get on for a while) I will make my parents turn everything off (execpt the freezer, they are going to keep that on no mater what) so I can have my 14th birthday without electricity. Instead of cake we will have s'mores.
I just wanted to tell you all that, I didn't want you all to think I left you =)

That ought to suck D= Though s'mores would be a nice replacement for a b-day cake =D Anyway, happy birthday! And no worries, we won't ever think that you out of all people would leave us out =3

B-but I like my presants early... but since it ain't done yet... I can make that exception...
My mom says I can hunt for my presant in their closet tomorrow so she don't have to wrap it up =)
And seeing as a friend from down the street has become my "Brother from another mother" I shouldn't be bored.

That happened to my parents before were we had a huge storm and it took out like a whole town and since we're out in the country they were the like last ones and they were forgotten, because my dad had to call in for them to see why it was taking so long and they were like:
Person - Isn't it working?
Dad - Umm..... No it hasn't been working for three days.
Person - Opps!!!! we'll get out there as soon as possible.
Dad - Right......
Yep that was the story that my dad told me before my and I think Jacob was only like one or two at the time, but I'm not that sure all I know is that I wasn't born.
And Rain I love your drawing it is sooooo cool!!!
I wish I knew how to draw but I can't draw worth a crap.

Okay, caps lock is off now.
And yeah, we live 15 minutes outside and city but seeing as electrical compoanies aim to get the most peope the most power first we are normally amoung the last because I live on a 5 mile long road that doesn't have very many families living on it.

Yeah, I might be off on the length I heard my dad say today it is only a 3 mile long road =)

Moony you deserve the GLOMP TACKLE OF A LIFETIME. And That has to suck. We got a generator as well, for when the flood happened and our power was out for awhile. So my dad went out and bought in case we wouldn't get the power back for a really long time. Which it was only out for a couple days.
